Tupperware Time

I have joined the magical world of Tupperware.
If you think I'm talking about a bunch of containers you are so wrong.
It's so much more then that.

Drink bottles, cooking appliances, cooking prep, knives,
baking, storing, BBQ sets, backpacks and more.
I am in love and I wish I could host a party for you all!

I had my first party on friday night and it was amazing!!

So. Much. Tupperware.
Free for the party host.
Free for me.
Discounts.
Flexibility.
Financial Freedom.
Whats not to love?

If you live near me and you want to host a party (trust me YOU DO), then let me know!!

Sticky Cat and Kittens.

On December 1st, 2014 our cat, Ember (also known as Sticky Cat*) had four very cute kittens.
We were smitten from day one.
2 ginger, 2 grey/black.
3 males, 1 female.

 Night they were born

It's been so great having the little fur balls joining our family for the past 8 weeks.
But alas, it's now time to go.

Although I will be sad to see them go.
I will not be sad to be woken up at 5am by little feet running around our room.
Or how they climb all over the bookshelf.
Or tear up tiny pieces of paper into more tiny pieces of paper.
Or chewing our shoes.

But poor Ember/Sticky Cat will miss them terribly.
She is very attached to say the least.
And has been a wonderful, devoted, loving Mother.
Lucky our neighbour across the road is keeping one
or maybe we would have had to.
Maybe.

***Ember received the name "Sticky Cat" after our friends children played with her and found that if you threw her (very gently) onto the tree she would "stick" and stay put for several minutes - as if camouflaged.
So they lovingly nicknamed her Sticky Cat and it has stuck (mind the pun).

2 years of Marriage!

(warning - sappy post ahead)

* * * *
Today marks our 2 year wedding anniversary.
I cannot believe it's already been two years.
Time goes quickly when your in love.
But in saying that, I feel like we've been together forever (in a good way).
And we totally have forever to go.
It's going to be great.

Below are my favourite photos from our wedding.
Well two of my stack of favourites (it's hard to choose really).
I have to post them again.
And I will probably do the same again next year.

We have started a little tradition on each anniversary, which I LOVE.
We take a photo, with our photo from the year before.
Last year was with a wedding photo, and this year was with last years photo.
I'm loving it already.
I can't wait to see what it will look like in 10, 20 and 30 years time.
And the best thing about it is Benn loves taking this photo too (what!?).
For a man who hates photos, that's saying something.
He already is talking about next years.
How I love him.

Dearest Hubby;
Thanks for the past two years as my husband.
And for the other four as your significant other.
We are each others better halves.
I know what your thinking,
(yes, there are snacks in the kitchen)
And you know what decision I want to make before I make it.
(That's really helpful cause I hate making decisions).
We've had some big changes this year and we have come out on top.
I know that we can tackle any changes in the future together and get through it all.
Thanks for making me laugh.
I love you a lot.
Love Wifey xx

(okay maybe just one more favourite)

Relaxation and Sunburn

Last weekend we were invited to our friends cabin in Forster, a little coastal town about 2 hours North of where we live.

It was so lovely to get away from the house, even though we couldn't bring our babies (thanks for babysitting Mum!). Beach everyday, reading a book in peace, logged off from social media (most of the time).

Benn off for a surf at 8am while I did some squats and sit ups.

I actually got into the water too. I am pretty afraid of waves and I am terrified of getting dunked. But Benn took me by the hand and very lovingly led me out into the water safely. I was still so anxious the whole time and exhausted by the end of it, but proud of my accomplishment!

Thanks so the selfie stick, I was able to get lots of "couple shots". Benn never has to worry about not being in a photo again (he's going to love it).

It's amazing how a weekend away can regenerate your mind and relationship! I loved spending the weekend in a new place with my hubby. We need to do it more often!
Next on the list is camping with our babes.

OUCH

Unfortunately though, no beach trip is complete without myself being severely sun burnt. Even after I put sunscreen on before AND after every time we went into the sun.

I cannot win.

And I am still suffering a week later.

A Strong and Courageous 2015

I m a big fan of making New Years Resolutions, as I feel it's always good to strive for something. I am constantly making "to-do" lists, so why would a list of things to accomplish during the year be any different? Even if some things may not be reached, like the past, at least I have tried. For me, it's all about trying to become a better person and I believe that resolutions help us do that.
This year, along with some resolutions, I wanted to have a quote or words to "live" by in a way.

So this year I have chosen the following: Be Strong and of good Courage

There is a few ways this will contribute to my life this year, so I thought I would share a few:

I need STRENGTH to keep up with my fitness goals! I need to be strong to keep to my goal by getting out of bed to do it and finding time on busy days - no matter what! I need to get a proper schedule happening and actually keep to it, rather then stopping after a week. Not only will I gain physical strength but I know it will strengthen my mind.

I need STRENGTH to finish my final year of university. I have a big year ahead, with an internship in August and I need to be strong to make it through!

I need COURAGE to not only stand up for my beliefs, but to share them with others. I might be great and speaking about my beliefs online, but in person is a whole other ball game for me. This year I want to accomplish that.

I need COURAGE to and always stick to my standards no matter what. I have trouble making decisions and sometimes this leads to me just going along with others. Don't worry, nothing too dramatic, I just want to have courage to speak what I feel and stand for, not just say nothing.

The above things give you a general idea about my main goals this year. I have many others too, like reading more and going on date nights with the hubby more often.
Here's to another year!

Happy New Year!

I was lucky enough to spend New Years with the husband and a few of our friends. First we spent the day with our babies (dogs) and relaxed in each others company remincing about our past year. I wrote in my journal all the things I loved about 2014 and the things I hope to accomplish in 2015.

As I get older I feel like time just flies and I feel like at the end of every year I always say "I CAN'T BELIEVE ANOTHER YEAR HAS ALREADY GONE". Why does time speed up the older you get? No doubt it will go even faster once we have kids!

2014 didn't quite go as I had hoped, but in other ways it turned out better than I expected. 2015, I have a feeling you will be great and I'm excited to see what you've got in store!

And New Years Day was spent the best way, at the beach with our babes!
