I have a list so long of all the
traditions I want to do with my family as it gets bigger and the years
go on. Benn and I have already started a little wedding anniversary one,
but I will fill you in on that later. This post is all about the
Christmas Traditions I wish to do! Mostly they are to do with Children,
because I love making memories that they will grow to love and cherish
as the years go by.
- Tree Ornament Additions
- Gingerbread Houses
- Christmas Light looking
- Advent Calenders
- Advent Book Calender
- Elves drop off 12 Christmas books on the eve of December 1st, open one each day to read - Santa Sacks at the end of beds
- Hot Chocolates with gingerbread men
- Nativity Scene arrangement
- Christmas Eve boxes
- A box filled with goodies to open; new pj's, snacks, a book, a Christmas movie to watch and a mug to drink some hot chocolate - "Snowballing" someones house
- Go Christmas Carolling
- Make cookies for a neighbour
- Give some toys away to receive new ones at Christmas
I hope that by completing each of these during the Christmas period, it will bring the Christmas spirit into my home and into the hearts of my children.
